ABOUT US

Jefferson City Bible Chapel is a local group of people who have placed their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

WORSHIP

Our Lord instructed us to meet often to remember Him in the breaking of bread. We gather weekly for the Lord’s Supper to worship our blessed Lord Jesus (Matthew 26:26-30, Luke 22:14-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, Acts 2:42, Acts 20:7).

SERVICE

Every believer in Christ has at least one spiritual gift given by the Holy Spirit. These gifts are used in serving one another for the glory of God. We encourage every believer to use their gifts to build up one another in faith, to meet one another’s needs, and to spread the gospel for the salvation of souls (Romans 12:3-16, 1 Corinthians 12, Ephesians 4:7-16, 1 Peter 4:10-11).

EVANGELISM

Jesus commanded His disciples to go into all the world, preaching the gospel and making disciples (Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:19-20). It is our aim to teach the message of salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone as the only hope for forgiveness of sins and peace with God. We do this through personal evangelism, home Bible studies, and foreign missions.

WEEKLY MEETINGS

SUNDAY - 9:30 AM

The Breaking of Bread, also known as the Lord's Supper or Communion, is an observance that commemorates the sacrifice of Jesus Chris. This is a weekly meeting from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM

SUNDAY - 11:00 AM

The Sunday service is a family Bible hour where believers come together to sing worship, study the Bible, and deepen their understanding of God's Word. Kids Sunday school is also happening at this time.

Wednesday - 6:15 PM

The Wednesday meeting is a devotional and prayer night. This meeting is where believers focus on spiritual renewal through small prayer groups, worship, and the study of God's Word.
